a picture from a facebook friend. how ironic is it that I, a life long Calamity Jane fan who actually had the weekend off didn't go to Calamity Jane Days the 3rd weekend in September in Princeton, MO, which is 8 miles away, because I was too freakin' tired?
Just ran across your site. My mom grew up in Princeton, Modena actually, but graduated from Princeton High School in the 50's. We've always lived in Kansas City, but have very fond memories of Calamity Jane Day, particularly getting candy tossed to us set the passage, and the melodrama. Thanks for your photos, wonderful reminders of a wonderful time.
